Massachusetts business groups ask state's Supreme Judicial Court to stop 'millionaires tax' from reaching 2018 ballot

The plaintiffs in the complaint against the proposed amendment, along with Anderson, are Christopher Carlozzi, the Massachusetts state director of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB); Richard Lord, president and CEO of Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM); Eileen McAnneny, president of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation (MTF); and Daniel O'Connell, president and CEO of the Massachusetts Competitive Partnership (MACP), and a former top aide to Gov. Deval Patrick.
