Ashley White is a Senior Policy Researcher at the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation. In her role, Ashley focuses on early education research and policy.
Prior to joining MTF, Ashley was the Director of the Economic Mobility Lab at the City of Boston, leading a team that researches and tests innovative policy solutions to promote economic mobility. During her time at the City, Ashley led the implementation and analysis of the Child Care Census Survey, an annual survey that seeks to understand parent’s experiences, preferences, and challenges with child care in Boston. She’s also co-authored numerous reports cataloguing the child care crisis in Boston. In addition to her work in child care, Ashley also has experience managing projects related to student debt and tax policy.
Ashley has a Master’s in Public Policy from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management and received her undergraduate degree from UMass Amherst. She lives in East Boston with her partner, Jess and their Pug, Ginsburg.
