MTF Member Briefing for an update on the state's fiscal year 2025 budget as well as the status of supplemental budget negotiations on surplus surtax resources. We will also hear from MTF Policy Start Fellow Alexandria Sheehan, who will provide an overview of her recent report on rental assistance and emergency assistance funding in the state budget.  This research, conducted with the support of our partners at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, provides a clear overview of the various ways in which the state budget supports housing and rental assistance programs and examines trends in program funding over the last decade.
